Alejandro, Ryan, and Afash attended the 2022 Combined Spring Otolaryngology Meeting in Dallas, Texas. They had both oral presentations and poster presentations describing cochlear implant usage trends in single sided deafness patients, a medical education outreach program in Uganda, and a systematic review describing outcomes for tumor and non-tumor ABI patients. Alejandro won the First Place Poster Presentation Award in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery by the Triological Society for his poster that analyzed quality-of-life outcomes from different nerve graft techniques for facial reanimation surgery.
